Where Heaven and Earth Connect

Who We Are
A Distinct Identity
Welcome to the Vassar Victory Center Website. Within these pages you will find information about our church, our ministries, and most importantly, who Jesus Christ is and how you can begin a personal relationship with Him. It is our belief that faith should not be compartmentalized and isolated within the walls of a church building. Therefore, we have made it our prioirity to create an environment where like-minded individuals can gather together to Worship Father God and encourage each other to live and walk on Earth as it is in Heaven, creating an atmosphere that in turn creates a culture where "Heaven and Earth Connect." We believe that this objective can only be accomplished when we become "one new man", united as the body of Christ. Only then will we be walking in true Victory. You see, "being the "Church" is much more important to us than "doing Church"."
Our key verse is found in Galatians 2:20 which reads this way from the New Living Translation: "My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer how I live, but Christ who lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Since this is what He has done for us, it only makes sense that we should live in the same manner.
About Us
Vassar Victory Center seeks to provide Christian fellowship and ministry in the context of the New Testament tradition. The church is firmly grounded in the historical doctrines of the church which are rooted in the scriptures. The bible is the final authority for all we believe and do.
Vassar Victory Center is a part of the worldwide church of Jesus Christ, which is comprised of believers out of every nation and from a variety of Christian expressions.
Like the local churches mentioned in the New Testament, Vassar Victory Center seeks to provide Christian teaching and influence, both to its members and its community.
"The family of God functions most effectively when the members are doing what they naturally love and are gifted to do."
